My Story — The Heart Behind HerPillow®

Hi, I’m Mari Rojas, the creator and founder of HerPillow®. I started this brand from my home in Las Vegas, Nevada — driven by one simple dream: to help moms finally sleep comfortably again.

During my pregnancy, I struggled every single night. I used to stack three or four pillows, twist them around my bump, and still wake up sore, sweating, and exhausted. I remember thinking, “Why isn’t there a pillow made for this kind of comfort — the kind every mom deserves?”

So I decided to create one myself. I started with a sketch on paper, then hand-cut fabric, stuffed cotton, and shaped prototypes in my living room. It wasn’t perfect at first — I kept testing, adjusting, and re-sewing until it felt just right. The night I finally slept through without pain or pressure, I cried — because I knew I’d made something that could truly help other moms, too.

That’s how the HerPillow® Pregnancy Pillow was born — a full-body, 5-in-1 support pillow designed to cradle every curve, support your belly, relieve hip and back pain, and make side-sleeping feel natural. It’s soft, breathable, and made to grow with you — from pregnancy to postpartum and even nursing.

Each pillow is hand-stuffed and vacuum-sealed by me in Las Vegas, using 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton from a sustainable sheep farm in Arizona. This cotton is pure, chemical-free, and incredibly soft — it’s what gives HerPillow® that cloud-like comfort moms rave about. I personally inspect, fluff, and seal every pillow myself to ensure it arrives clean, fresh, and ready to use.

But beyond the materials and design, what makes HerPillow® special is the intention behind it. Every pillow I make carries a piece of my heart — and a promise that it was made with real care, not in a factory line.
